1) our tv got this funny red line down the screen like 2 1/2 months after we bought it. we took it back to walmart like 92 days after the purchase date, and they told us that they wouldn't exchange it because it was past 90 days. the department manager was a total douche. his name is matt, btw, and he works at the wally world on 49. if you ever see him, you have my blessings should you like to inform him that he is a douche. anyways, like 5 months later and 2 months before the manufacturer's 1 yr. warranty is up, we (harvey) actually got around to calling sanyo. they told us to take the tv to a repair shop (where the people were really nice and awesome) in hburg and that they would pay for the cost to fix it. the cool part: since we are such procrastinators and waited so long to take the tv in, sanyo no longer makes the part needed to fix it. therefore, we are getting a new (even better) tv. we have to go pick it up from doucheguy at wm, though. h talked to him earlier, and now he's all mr. nicey nice guy. whatever. i know the truth. he will always be douchey douche guy on the inside. bonus: h has to get off work early to go pick up the old tv before the repair shop closes so we can trade it in for the new tv at wm. yay!
2) i have become disney obsessed. i have joined the disney movie rewards club, and i have been scavenging magic codes like crazy. (the magic codes give you points, and you cash in your points to get stuff that no adult would want unless he/she were developmentally stunted, as i apparently am). i also made h sign us up for the disney movie club. we got 4 blu-rays for 1.99/each plus a fifth movie for 9.99 plus a sixth movie for 1/2 price. we ended up getting 6 disney movies for 32.99. the only thing we have to do to be in the club is buy 4 more movies over the next 2 years, which we would have done anyway, duh! plus i got 500 extra points for joining the movie club! i can't wait til all my movies get here so i can watch them on my new fancy tv while adding up all the points from the magic codes that came inside them! one of the movies that i ordered is ponyo. i love this movie. please see it if you have not. ponyo and sosuke (the main characters) remind me of me and h. it's like this chubby little girl keeps falling asleep, and her little boyfriend has to keep being practical and dragging her along and taking care of her. it's so cute. ponyo <3 sosuke.
3) halloween obsession is well underway for the year. will require a separate post.
4) i got some happies yesterday. i sometimes get happies when i am good or when h is bad. more oyster shells with little birdie paintings, a cool twisty staff that the oyster shell man made, and some pretty jewelry things that kind of match my twisty staff (in my opinion).
